May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, driven, and relationship-focused Property Management Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our management portfolio while leading our growth efforts. This position combines operations, business development, customer service, and leadership. You'll be responsible for ensuring our landlords and tenants receive exceptional service while actively bringing new property owners into the company. ResponsibilitiesBusiness Growth Generate new property management clients Build relationships with real estate agents, investors, and landlords Attend networking events and develop referral partnerships Conduct presentations and property management consultations Follow up on leads and close new management agreements Help develop marketing ideas and growth strategies Property Operations Oversee daily operations of the management portfolio Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor scheduling Ensure repairs are completed quickly and professionally Conduct property inspections as needed Resolve tenant and owner concerns Monitor property performance and identify improvements Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing Leadership Improve operational systems and processes Help hire and manage future team members Track KPIs and company performance Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and customer experience Help shape the future direction of the company Qualifications Property management or real estate experience preferred Connecticut real estate license preferred (or willingness to obtain) Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong organization and time management Ability to solve problems independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with an ownership mentality Experience with property management software is a plus Compensation $3,000/month base salary Performance bonuses for company growth Bonus equal to one month's management fee for every new property management client signed Opportunities for additional bonuses as the company grows Paid time off Flexible work environment Significant career advancement opportunities Why Join Bruin Property Management?
