Nassau County, Suffolk County & Queens, NY Our client, a well-established commercial property owner with multiple shopping centers throughout Long Island and Queens, is seeking a dependable, mature professional to serve as the on-site liaison for maintenance and repair projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a retired or semi-retired individual with general construction, building maintenance, facilities, or property management experience who enjoys staying active and working independently. Responsibilities Travel to commercial properties as needed throughout Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens. Meet plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, roofers, and other contractors on-site. Provide access to buildings and coordinate entry when repairs are scheduled. Walk through the property with contractors and explain reported issues. Observe repair work and communicate any questions or concerns to property management. Report the status of repairs and document completed work. Respond to occasional maintenance calls as needed. Serve as the owner's trusted representative at each property. Qualifications General knowledge of commercial buildings, construction, facilities, or maintenance. Ability to recognize and describe building-related issues (plumbing, electrical, roofing, etc.). Strong communication and organizational skills. Dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel throughout Nassau County, Suffolk County, and Queens. #
