A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Description

Overview :
Property Management company seeks business degreed professional with a minimum of 4 years experience in property management. This is a regional leadership role overseeing a multi-property portfolio of apartment communities.
Requirements :
  • At least 4 years of progressive multifamily property management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiar with property management software (RealPage, Yardi, etc.)
  • Knowledge of LIHTC policies preferred
  • Proficient in office computer skills
  • Professional and confident communication with residents, employees, vendors, and senior leadership
  • Ability to travel to sites as necessary.
Responsibilities :
  • Oversee and train on-site property managers across a designated territory.
  • Support and hold accountable each site's Property Manager and staff.
  • Review vacancy and delinquency reports. Monitor evictions and renewals to ensure property manager is meeting all deadlines and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor property financial performance and review budget comparison reports.
  • Work with corporate staff to select and oversee capital improvement projects.
  • Review property budgets and financial performance across the portfolio.
  • Ensure consistent compliance with fair housing and landlord-tenant law across all sites.
  • Step in directly on underperforming assets to diagnose and fix operational issues.
  • Ensure residents receive responsive and professional customer service

$70,000.00
  • $90,000.
