You'll assist with daily operations, help ensure compliance with LIHTC and Section 8 guidelines, and deliver excellent service to a diverse resident base.
Compensation & Highlights:
Compensation:
$20.00-$23.00 per hour. Contract-to-permanent. Responsibilities of the
Assistant Property Manager:
Assist with leasing, conduct property tours, process applications, and help maintain high occupancy levels. Help prepare and process tenant initial and interim recertifications under LIHTC, Section 8, and HUD guidelines. Serve as a key point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and helping resolve community concerns. Support rent collections, post payments, and help manage minor account delinquencies. Process maintenance work orders and help prepare the property for agency inspections. Maintain organized tenant files and keep the property management system up to date. Qualifications of the
Assistant Property Manager:
1-2+ years of property management or strong residential administrative experience (affordable housing background a plus). Basic familiarity with HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, or Fair Housing regulations preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, customer-first approach. Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi, RealPage, or MRI highly preferred. Submit your resume today for immediate consideration!
