Assistant Property Manager City Personnel - 4.1 Richmond, RI Job Details $20 - $23 an hour 7 days ago Benefits 401(k) matching Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description Ready to build a meaningful career A prominent, mission-driven non-profit is seeking an organized and motivated Assistant Property Manager for their affordable housing portfolio in the South County region. In this role, you will assist with daily operations, help ensure compliance with LIHTC and Section 8 guidelines, and deliver excellent service to our diverse resident base. Compensation •
Hourly Rate:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Assistant Property Manager Responsibilities:
Leasing & Occupancy:
Assist with leasing, conduct property tours, process applications, and help maintain high occupancy levels. •
Compliance Support:
Help prepare and process tenant initial and interim recertifications under LIHTC, Section 8, and HUD guidelines. •
Resident Relations:
Act as a key point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and helping resolve community concerns. •
Financial Assistance:
Support rent collections, post payments, and help manage minor account delinquencies. •
Maintenance Coordination:
Process maintenance work orders and assist in preparing the property for agency inspections. •
Administrative Operations:
Maintain organized tenant files and update data in the property management system.
Assistant Property Manager Qualifications:
Experience:
1-2+ years of property management or strong residential administrative experience (affordable housing background is a plus). •
Compliance Knowledge:
Basic awareness of HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, or Fair Housing regulations is preferred. •
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, customer-first approach. •
Software Literacy:
Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi, RealPage, or MRI is highly preferred. Submit your resume today for immediate consideration!
