Job Description

About the Role We are hiring a dedicated, motivated Assistant Property Manager to help lead operations at one of our residential communities. While previous property management experience is a plus, we're open to candidates with strong leadership skills from other customer-facing industries like hospitality or retail. Responsibilities Support the Property Manager with day-to-day operations Assist with leasing, resident relations, service requests, and retention efforts Help coordinate maintenance requests and vendor services Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies Conduct property walks to ensure safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal Handle administrative duties such as data entry, reporting, and file management Provide outstanding customer service to residents and prospects Support team performance and step in for the manager as needed What We're Looking For Prior team leadership or supervisory experience required Previous experience with HUD and/or LIHTC housing programs is strongly preferred. Property management, hospitality, or similar background is a plus Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow Familiarity with Fair Housing laws (or willingness to learn) Comfortable with basic administrative tools and software Benefits Competitive pay + bonus opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Professional development opportunities A team-focused culture that values your growth
