Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Leasing Manager to lead our property leasing operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties Manage the entire leasing cycle, including marketing available units, conducting property tours, and negotiating lease agreements to maximize occupancy and revenue. Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite to track leasing activities, update tenant records, and generate reports. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant laws, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other legal requirements. Coordinate with legal administrative teams to prepare and review lease contracts, amendments, and related documentation. Maintain excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing detailed information about properties and lease terms. Oversee property maintenance coordination and facilitate communication between tenants and maintenance teams to ensure tenant satisfaction. Lead and develop the leasing team through training on conflict management, negotiation skills, office procedures, and customer relationship management tools. Skills Proficiency with property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, and other CRM systems to streamline leasing operations. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, LIHTC compliance, and legal administrative processes. Excellent negotiation skills coupled with effective conflict management abilities to resolve tenant concerns amicably. Experience in property leasing or rental agreement management within a property management company environment. Demonstrated ability in team management, training staff on customer service excellence and administrative procedures. Competence in budgeting, data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Office applications. Exceptional client communication skills with professional phone etiquette and upselling techniques to promote available units. Familiarity with facilities management principles related to property maintenance and tenant safety standards.
