Job Description

Lead a Home. Support a Team. Make a Difference. Ability Beyond Barriers is hiring a Full-Time Residential House Manager. We are looking for a caring, organized, and dependable leader who can support residents while helping Direct Support Professionals succeed. The Residential House Manager provides day-to-day leadership for assigned homes and helps ensure every person receives respectful, individualized support that promotes independence, choice, dignity, health, safety, and community involvement. In This Role, You Will Lead and support Direct Support Professionals. Coordinate staffing schedules and residential coverage. Help employees understand and follow each person s individualized support plan. Promote personal choice, privacy, dignity, and community participation. Oversee health, safety, medication, documentation, and emergency procedures. Help maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and welcoming home. Review records and ensure required documentation is accurate and completed on time. Communicate with residents, families, guardians, case managers, clinicians, and other service partners. Respond to after-hours or emergency needs as assigned. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has A high school diploma or GED. A valid driver s license. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Residential I/DD experience, preferably with supervisory responsibilities. The ability to coach employees, manage competing demands, and protect confidential information. This is a full-time, hourly position working 40 hours per week. It is designated as an Essential Employee position, which includes reporting and supporting residential operations during certain emergencies, inclement weather, disasters, or closures.
