Job Overview Join our dynamic property management team as an Assistant Property Manager specializing in multifamily communities! Responsibilities Assist in managing daily property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination Support lease or rental agreement management, ensuring all documentation complies with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite to update records, process payments, and generate reports Communicate effectively with tenants regarding lease terms, rent payments, and service requests via phone and client communication platforms Collaborate with team members on budgeting, facilities management, and conflict resolution to maintain a positive community atmosphere Conduct property inspections and oversee property maintenance to uphold safety standards and aesthetic appeal Handle legal administrative tasks related to Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC compliance, and contracts with vendors or service providers Experience Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, preferably within multifamily communities Familiarity with property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 program requirements Demonstrated ability to manage leasing processes, contracts, and rental agreements efficiently Excellent conflict management skills combined with professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation Experience in budgeting, facilities management, data entry, filing, and office administration is highly desirable Ability to lead or support team management initiatives while maintaining a focus on client communication and upselling opportunities This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a positive impact in community living environments.
