Full Job Description Role Overview:
The Supportive Housing Team Leader oversees daily activities and staff in a supportive housing program, ensuring clients develop daily living skills aligned with recovery principles. They supervise Mental Health Technicians, coordinate client services, and facilitate community-based activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily, weekly, and monthly operations, including documentation, treatment plan updates, and facility checks. Supervise staff through hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations, maintaining appropriate staffing ratios. Advocate for clients, coordinate services, and ensure timely mental health and medical appointments. Maintain accurate records, submit reports, and ensure compliance with policies and standards such as CARF and licensure requirements. Foster teamwork, develop community partnerships, and resolve conflicts with a problem-solving approach. Participate in crisis intervention, provide therapeutic support, and uphold safety protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of two years of related experience; a Bachelor's degree in a health or behavioral science field is preferred. Strong supervisory, organizational, and interpersonal skills with knowledge of recovery-based practices. Proficiency in computer use, documentation, and electronic medical records. Valid driver license with F endorsement, reliable vehicle, and ability to transport clients. Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and effectively perform crisis de-escalation techniques.

Flexibility to work in a 24/7 program, including on-call duties and holiday coverage, with a focus on client advocacy and team collaboration in a residential setting.
