Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Property Manager -
Multifamily Compensation Base Salary:
$55,000-$65,000 annually, based on experience
Performance Bonus:
10-15% annual bonus potential based on property and individual performance Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Property Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a multifamily community. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for customer service, team development, and operational excellence. This role is responsible for maintaining a market-ready community while driving occupancy, resident satisfaction, financial performance, and team success. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of daily property operations, including maintenance, leasing, resident relations, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, renewals, evictions, marketing, capital projects, vendor management, and expense control. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing onsite team, including leasing, maintenance, and administrative staff. Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and prospects, driving resident satisfaction and lease renewals. Ensure all leases, renewals, resident files, and property records are completed accurately and in accordance with company standards. Monitor occupancy, traffic, leasing activity, and marketing performance while identifying opportunities to increase revenue. Analyze market conditions and competitor activity to develop effective leasing and marketing strategies. Manage the property's operating budget, financial performance, and expense controls. Ensure compliance with company policies, fair housing regulations, and all applicable local, state, and federal laws. Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure service requests, preventative maintenance, and curb appeal standards are consistently met. Recruit, interview, onboard, and coach team members while fostering a positive, accountable workplace culture. Maintain strong relationships with residents, vendors, and ownership through proactive communication and problem resolution. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of onsite multifamily Property Manager experience required. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict resolution abilities. Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, collections, and operational management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with AppFolio and BlueMoon strongly preferred. Ability to analyze leasing trends and implement strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue. Schedule Full-time, Onsite Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Work Environment This position operates primarily in a professional office setting within a multifamily community. The role requires regular interaction with residents, vendors, and team members and includes walking the property, inspecting units, and occasional travel between buildings or properties as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and move throughout the property for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds. Ability to operate standard office equipment and work on a computer for extended periods. Occasional travel may be required.
