This position serves as a senior-level member of the property management team and is expected to demonstrate strong leadership, sound judgment, and a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures. The Senior Property Manager will work closely with onsite staff, maintenance teams, vendors, residents, and upper management to ensure communities are operating efficiently and meeting company standards. Responsibilities include overseeing leasing and occupancy goals, rent collections, delinquency, resident concerns, lease compliance, property inspections, maintenance coordination, make-ready progress, vendor management, reporting, budgeting, and maintaining the overall condition and appearance of the community. As a senior-level position, the Senior Property Manager may also assist with training and supporting other Property Managers and onsite team members, helping troubleshoot operational issues, conducting property inspections, assisting with new property transitions or lease-ups, and providing additional coverage when needed.
Travel Requirement:
This position may require occasional travel to other local company-managed properties to provide management support, conduct inspections, assist with training, provide temporary coverage, or address operational needs. Travel frequency may vary based on company needs. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service and accountability. The Senior Property Manager should be comfortable working independently, making decisions, leading a team, and stepping in wherever needed to support the successful operation of the company's portfolio. Requirements Proven experience in property management and leasing operations Solid understanding of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations Demonstrated ability in team management with excellent conflict management skills and leadership qualities Strong customer service orientation with effective client communication skills and negotiation abilities Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, contracts management and use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) Knowledge of property maintenance procedures along with facilities management experience is preferred Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Senior Property Manager where your leadership will shape vibrant communities!
