Job Description
Fath Properties is always looking for enthusiastic, hard-working professionals to join our team! Currently we are seeking candidates to fill a Community Manager position, working at two communities Summit at Midtown and Woodbridge Apartments. While the communities are separate, they operate as one with respect to staffing and leasing. These two communities have a combined total of 289 units in North Central Dallas. We are seeking a candidate who is a proven leader, offers excellent communication skills, and operates at a high level of customer service. The Community Manager job description includes, but is not limited to, the following: Meet with prospective residents and conduct apartment showings. Oversees rent collection, breakdown sheets and bank deposits as well as several monthly reports with respect to the property. Plan, schedule and coordinate general sub-contractors working on the property. Complete inspections to ensure that sub-contractors complete quoted tasks and verify that the work is done as agreed upon. Responsible for monthly reports related to the budget, financials and variance. Work with Regional Manager to prepare annual budget. Respond to resident maintenance requests by completing work orders and logs. Schedule maintenance repairs and engage in follow up with residents. Responsible for the physical appearance of the property; inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment daily to determine necessity or repairs, maintenance and safety hazards. Investigate complaints as well as disturbances and violations. Be proactive in resolving problems utilizing management rules and regulations. Enforce disciplinary action including eviction when necessary. Manage, oversee and provide coaching to all staff working at the property, which includes recruiting, hiring and disciplining staff. Review employee timecards ensuring accuracy. Communicate with Human Resources and Regional Manager regarding employee issues including: status, compensation and disciplinary measures. Conduct annual performance reviews for each employee on site. Conduct market surveys as requested by management. Develop strategies to market and showcase property to prospective residents by working in conjunction with Leasing staff and Regional Manager.
Previous apartment management experience required. Must be detail-oriented and a team player.
