Position is 40 hrs a week, Monday through Friday, with the first Saturday of the month required. To qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as an assistant manager of a multi-family property or 2 years of experience as a Leasing Consultant. The assistant property manager must provide high-level customer service to our prospects and residents at all times and understand the landlord-tenant rights and responsibilities. The assistant manager assists in managing day to day operations, leasing, renewals, collections, financial reporting, supplies, and communications for the apartment community. Handling incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails and mail Helping investigate and resolve tenant complaints Reporting issues such as rule infractions, maintenance requirements and tenant issues to the property manager Inspecting apartments during move-ins and move-outs Candidates must have intermediate computer skills, leadership skills, and excellent communication skills. The assistant manager must be proficient in Excel and Word, demonstrate strong time management skills, and be able to multitask. Candidates must be knowledgeable about federal fair housing laws, statutes, and regulations, as well as local laws and ordinances. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can multitask, is professional and trustworthy, and works well under deadlines.
General Requirements:
2 Years+ of onsite apartment office experience. High School diploma or equivalent. Must be fluent in English and Spanish. Valid Driver's License. Criminal Background and drug screening are conducted. We are an
