This role is essential in fostering a vibrant, well-maintained community that exceeds resident expectations. The Community Manager will be responsible for managing leasing activities, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and leading a dedicated team to deliver exceptional customer service. Duties Manage daily property operations, including leasing, resident relations, and maintenance coordination to ensure smooth community functioning Oversee lease or rental agreement management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards and company policies Utilize property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite to maintain accurate data entry, financial records, and reporting Enforce Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-tenant law, LIHTC guidelines, and Section 8 program requirements to uphold legal standards and promote inclusivity Lead and manage property management staff, fostering teamwork, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations Handle client communication with professionalism via phone etiquette and in-person interactions to resolve issues promptly and enhance resident satisfaction Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management activities to ensure the community remains attractive and well-maintained Conduct conflict management strategies effectively when disputes arise among residents or staff, maintaining a positive community atmosphere Prepare budgets, monitor expenses, and oversee financial reporting related to property operations Skills Extensive experience with property management software such as ResMan, Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes related to leasing, contracts, and landlord-tenant law Proven ability in property leasing, sales, upselling amenities or services to residents or prospects Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on client relationship management and negotiation techniques Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations Experience in real estate administrative tasks including data entry, filing systems, budgeting, and facilities management Effective team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and communication purposes Strong conflict resolution skills combined with professional phone etiquette for resident engagement Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of property operations Join us as a Community Manager Class A Property — where your leadership will create thriving communities that residents love.
