The Assistant Manager will be Primarily located at Centerville Pointe. This position will work closely with the on-site management teams to support daily operations and provide additional assistance with collections, housing requirements, HAP changes, and eviction-related processes. The successful candidate will be comfortable balancing priorities across two communities and will bring strong property management, housing, leasing, organizational, and communication skills. Dual Site Will:
Provide operational support to the management teams at Spring Oaks and Centerville Pointe. Assist with daily property operations and help ensure the needs of both communities are addressed. Provide additional support with resident accounts, collections, delinquency follow-up, and related documentation. Assist with housing requirements, HAP changes, and other program-related processes. Support eviction filings and related administrative responsibilities. Perform leasing functions, including greeting and assisting prospective residents, conducting property and apartment tours, qualifying applicants, and preparing required documentation. Assist with move-in and move-out procedures. Interact with prospective residents to support occupancy and leasing goals. Support resident retention and maintain positive resident relationships. Respond to resident concerns and assist with problem resolution. Complete administrative duties, recordkeeping, data entry, and other documentation as needed. Communicate effectively with residents, prospective residents, employees, vendors, and the general public. Work closely with property management teams to prioritize workload and meet operational needs. Participate in staff meetings, training, and other company or property meetings as required. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Prior Assistant Manager experience required. Experience in multifamily housing/property management required. LIHTC experience required. Experience with housing programs, HAP changes, collections, or eviction processes preferred. Strong ability to multitask and manage competing priorities across two properties. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to a team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact positively and professionally with residents, employees, vendors, and the general public. Basic math, bookkeeping, and computer skills. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout the property as needed to perform job duties. Ability to walk throughout the communities and conduct property inspections and apartment tours. Ability to use stairs and navigate buildings and grounds as necessary. Ability to use a computer, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials and supplies necessary to perform job duties.
