Community Manager Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Leasing Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on thinking creatively, finding solutions, and closing the lease! You'll have the opportunity to drive occupancy and revenue at a student housing community. If you are energized by meeting goals, building relationships, and using your creativity to stand out in a competitive market, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities :
Generate interest in available units by creatively showcasing community features and benefits. Greet, qualify, and tour prospective residents. Confidently present value propositions to prospects and close the lease. Manage the entire leasing process, including applications, screenings, and lease signings. Partner with property management team members to ensure great curb appeal and resident experience. Work with leadership team to develop and implement innovative leasing and marketing strategies. Assist with advertising campaigns, online listings, and social media outreach to drive traffic. Monitor market trends and competitor activity, bringing forward fresh ideas to maintain a competitive edge. Provide coverage and consistent leasing service.
Qualifications :
1-3 years of leasing or sales experience preferred. Proven ability to meet and exceed leasing or sales goals. Strong sales and closing skills, with a track record of high performance. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Creative thinker who can adapt strategies to connect with a wide range of prospects. Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata, RealPage) a plus. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and compliance standards a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in business, real estate, correlated field preferred.

Work Environment :
Availability on evenings and weekends may be necessary to meet leasing demand.
Compensation :
$11-$15/hour, plus bonus potential for meeting leasing goals.
