Property Management Accounts Bookkeeper Golden Key Property Management Group McAllen, TX Job Details Full-time $11 - $14 an hour 8 hours ago Qualifications Basic math Attention to detail QuickBooks Process management Property management Full Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our properties and ensuring exceptional tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a variety of accounting tasks and will also serve as a key point of contact for our tenants. Key Duties include but are not limited to:
Financial Management:
Oversee and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. Handle timely payments of utility accounts. Maintain precise records of all unpaid balances. Process and deposit rent payments and manage their collection. Perform bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping, and credit analysis. Prepare monthly payment and financial reports. Conduct financial data analysis to support strategic decision-making Manage eviction postings, charges, and collections. Address tenant inquiries and provide outstanding customer service. Coordinate with team members on evictions and vacancy reports. Skills Accounting experience, especially with QuickBooks or other rental software. A solid understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial analysis. Great data entry skills and an eye for detail. Strong negotiation skills for communicating with tenants and vendors. The ability to analyze financial data with strong math skills. Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including debits, credits, and account reconciliation. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
