We're a small, growing local property management company looking for someone dependable, organized, friendly, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on position that includes office work, tenant communication, administrative tasks, and regular local travel to managed properties . You'll work closely with our Property Manager and help keep daily operations running smoothly.
Starting Pay:
$12.00/hour
Employment:
Part-Time, W-2
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, approximately 30-32 hours per week
Location:
McAllen, TX Mileage:
Approved business mileage is reimbursed separately for work-related driving. Responsibilities Answer and respond to tenant and prospective tenant calls, texts, and emails Follow up with prospective tenants and rental applicants Assist with rental applications and application follow-ups Monitor rent payments and outstanding balances and follow up as directed Prepare and deliver/post notices at managed properties Receive and document maintenance requests Schedule maintenance appointments and coordinate with vendors Maintain property and tenant information in our property management software Organize digital files and property records Schedule showings and property-related appointments Make regular local trips to managed properties for notices, photos, signs, lockboxes, inspections, vendor access, and other property-management needs Assist the Property Manager with daily tasks and follow-ups Help keep the office and daily operations organized Requirements Must have a reliable personal vehicle available for work-related travel Must have a valid driver's license Must maintain current automobile liability insurance that meets applicable Texas minimum requirements Must be comfortable driving regularly throughout the local area during scheduled work hours Responsible, dependable, and punctual Organized and detail-oriented Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable communicating by phone, text, and email throughout the workday Comfortable using computers, smartphones, email, Google Docs/Sheets, and learning new software Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Property management, real estate, leasing, customer service, or administrative experience is helpful but not required What We Offer Consistent Monday-Friday schedule Mileage reimbursement for approved business travel Training provided Clear responsibilities and expectations Opportunity to learn about property management and real estate Room to grow as our company continues to expand Small, supportive team environment To Apply Please submit your resume and include a brief message telling us why you would be a great fit for this position and what interests you about working in property management.
