Job Description
Assistant Community Manager We are looking for the right person to grow with our company! We are seeking a motivated and dependable Assistant Community Manager to help oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our apartment communities. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working independently, enjoys staying busy, and takes pride in running operations with minimal supervision. This position is perfect for an experienced leasing professional or Assistant Manager who enjoys working solo, staying organized, and taking ownership of their community. Responsibilities Assist with the daily operations of the apartment community Perform leasing and marketing functions to maintain strong occupancy Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive resident relations Handle rent collections, deposits, and monthly reconciliations Enforce rent collection policies and follow up on delinquent accounts Monitor renewals and distribute renewal notices Prepare move-in paperwork in a timely and accurate manner Conduct community walks daily to ensure curb appeal and property standards Assist with resident retention efforts including follow-up calls and service satisfaction Knock on doors and communicate directly with residents when necessary Produce reports and assist Property Manager with operational tasks Qualifications Previous apartment industry experience required Assistant Manager or strong leasing experience preferred Experience with Entrata software Strong collector with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally Self-motivated and comfortable working independently Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Bilingual preferred Valid driver's license required Schedule Monday-Saturday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Saturdays are shorter days and include a half day off during the week Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay Leasing commissions included Opportunity for growth within the company Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and possession of a valid driver's license.
