Job Description

Community Manager - Multifamily Affordable Housing (greater Round Rock area) A growing property management firm is seeking an experienced, hands-on leader to oversee daily operations at an apartment community in the Round Rock, TX area. This role suits someone who stays calm under pressure, enjoys a fast-moving environment, and has a genuine track record in affordable housing compliance. Yardi experience and LIHTC background are both required.
What You'll Own:
Full day-to-day operations of the property Owner/asset-level reporting — rent rolls, delinquency, move-in/move-out tracking Budget prep and annual income projections Rent collection, posting, deposits, and late fee enforcement Evictions, handled per company policy and fair housing law AP coordination and invoice processing Occasional resident event planning Hiring, training, and day-to-day supervision of office and maintenance staff Vendor relationships and scheduling third-party services Leasing performance and occupancy goal achievement Move-in process oversight Resolving resident concerns promptly and professionally Partnering with maintenance to keep interior/exterior standards up to par Routine property walks — grounds, vacants, curb appeal A steady, professional, can-do attitude Additional responsibilities as needed
What You Bring:
3+ years managing LIHTC multifamily properties — non-negotiable Working proficiency in Yardi — non-negotiable Spanish/English bilingual ability is a nice-to-have Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team
Compensation:
$58,000-$62,000 base, DOE Monthly leasing commissions Bonus potential at management's discretion How to
