The ideal candidate will assist with the day-to-day operations of the community, provide exceptional customer service, and help maintain high occupancy while ensuring residents receive outstanding support. Duties Assist with daily management of the apartment community. Greet prospective residents and conduct apartment tours. Process rental applications, leases, renewals, and move-in paperwork. Collect rent and process resident payments. Prepare notices for delinquent accounts and lease violations. Maintain resident files and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws. Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely completion. Respond professionally to resident questions and concerns. Assist with move-in and move-out inspections. Answer phones, emails, and office inquiries. Assist the Property Manager with special projects and daily operations. Fill in for the Property Manager when needed. Experience Prior experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is highly preferred Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, or similar tools is essential Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Section 8 housing programs, and Fair Housing regulations is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person Experience managing lease agreements, contracts, and negotiations to maximize occupancy rates and revenue Office experience involving data entry, filing, client communication, and conflict resolution is required Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Opportunities for growth and advancement Schedule Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm with one hour lunch Occasional after-hours or weekend availability for emergencies or property needs
