Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

As of September 2026, it currently manages 117 properties located in 108 metropolitan markets in 20 states. The company continues to expand its portfolio with many more properties under contract to purchase within the next six months. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the management of commercial properties, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and maintaining positive relationships with tenants. This position requires a strong understanding of property management practices, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently. This position will work in a team environment, working side by side with a property manager and assisting other property management teams when necessary. Responsibilities Manage tenant relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and providing exceptional customer service. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws while maintaining accurate records. Utilize property management software AppFolio for data entry, filing, and maintaining tenant information. Coordinate property maintenance requests and follow up on completion. Assist in the processing of contracts related to property leasing and maintenance services. Maintain organized administrative files and documentation related to property management activities. Collaborate with facilities management and local contractors to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet safety standards. Experience Previous experience in property management or real estate administration. Strong understanding of conflict management techniques and negotiation skills. Proficiency in office tasks such as data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and general administrative duties. Experience in customer relationship management is essential for fostering positive tenant interactions. Knowledge of sales techniques related to property leasing will be beneficial for this role.
