Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Assistant Property Manager to join our vibrant property management team. Duties Assist with lease or rental agreement management, ensuring all documentation complies with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law. Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite to update tenant records, process payments, and generate reports. Coordinate property maintenance requests, track work orders using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and ensure timely resolution. Support property leasing activities by conducting tours, upselling available units, and managing client communication effectively. Handle conflict management situations professionally by mediating disputes between tenants or vendors while adhering to legal guidelines. Prepare and maintain accurate files, data entry logs, and filing systems related to property operations and legal documentation. Engage in budgeting activities, monitor expenses, and assist with financial reporting related to property management operations. Qualifications Proven experience with property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, and Property Management software. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and Section 8 housing programs. Previous experience in real estate administrative roles or property management companies is highly preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and another language; bilingual proficiency is required. Demonstrated conflict management abilities and negotiation skills to resolve tenant issues amicably. Familiarity with contracts, lease agreements, and rental policies; office experience is essential. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong team management skills with a focus on client relationship management and collaborative problem-solving. Knowledge of property maintenance procedures, facilities management practices, and data entry accuracy.
