Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Day Program Manager to lead and oversee our programs focused on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and related conditions. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, a background in behavioral health, 5 years experience working in day programs and a passion for program development. This role requires exceptional relationship management abilities patience and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. You will start at $20.00 and will recieve a raise every 30 days dependent on meeting expectations. Responsibilities Prepare and manage staff schedules, ensuring coverage for shifts. Manage all day program staff and oversee daily operations. Work directly with clients, providing support and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Communicate with guardians regarding clients Coordinate activities within budget and submit monthly activity calendars. Conduct staff training, new hire orientations, and monthly staff meetings. Develop and implement client support strategies Complete quarterly staff reviews and monthly client assessments. Maintain daily logs, manage administrative tasks, and oversee community engagement initiatives. Ensure compliance with charting system Daily Charting Check Cover shifts if PRN unavailable Manage building Budget Daily Receipt Checks Conflict Resoultion Monthly Staff Meetings Staff write ups/ Evals Availability needs to be 7:30am-5:00pm (Shift 8am-4pm typically or till 5pm dependent on structuring with lead) Requirements Proven experience in program management, particularly with disabled adults Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is required. Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and community partners. Strong organizational skills with a focus on administrative tasks and attention to detail. Associates degree preferred(or related work experience) 5 years experience in working with individuals with disabilities Ability to work collaboratively with staff, clients, and families. Compassionate and patient attitude toward clients. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport.
