A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

About You As a Property Manager for our 100+-unit multi-family property in the Salt Lake Valley, you will provide leadership and direction to on-site teammates, taking ownership of all aspects of operational performance at your assigned property. You are a confident people manager who thrives in fast-moving environments and can juggle multiple priorities with ease. You adapt quickly as situations evolve, all while keeping operations running smoothly. You're passionate about property management and driven to deliver exceptional results in occupancy, resident satisfaction, compliance with state and local program requirements, safety, building upkeep, and financial performance. You learn quickly, teach effectively, and can translate complex concepts into clear, actionable steps for your team. You are comfortable with ambiguity, confident making decisions with imperfect information, and skilled at engaging stakeholders at all levels with professionalism and poise. What You'll Be Doing Leadership & Management Lead by example, upholding company values of integrity and excellence. Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and teamwork. Recruit, train, and support staff to maximize performance and potential. Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, teammates, and stakeholders. Handle confidential information responsibly. Property Performance Maintain high occupancy and exceptional resident satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Oversee safety, cleanliness, and maintenance standards. Monitor performance metrics and address any gaps proactively. Report property performance to senior leadership and implement recovery plans when necessary. Customer Service & Service Standards Maintain a high standard of communication and responsiveness. Address complaints and legal matters promptly. Develop marketing strategies in compliance with Fair Housing laws. Monitor market trends and provide competitive insights. Marketing Implement strategies to increase property visibility and attract residents. Continuously analyze competitor activity to refine marketing approaches. Budgeting & Financial Management Maximize revenue through effective leasing and occupancy management. Collaborate with the Regional Manager on market surveys, rent increases, and expense control. Plan and manage capital improvements. Review ROI for amenity enhancements with the Regional and Asset Managers.
Qualifications Bilingual:
fluency in English and Spanish Strongly Preferred. 3+ years of people management experience. 2+ years in property management. 1+ years of experience with property management software. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and property compliance requirements. Review ROI for amenity enhancements with the Regional and Asset Managers.
Pay:
$30.00 per hour
