MANAGERBernstein Brothers Management — Arlington, Virginia Bernstein Brothers Management is seeking an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential properties in the Arlington, Virginia area. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining well-run properties, providing excellent service to residents, and effectively managing vendors, maintenance, and building operations. Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned residential properties Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and address tenant questions and concerns Coordinate and oversee building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance Supervise and coordinate contractors, vendors, and service providers Obtain bids, schedule work, and monitor projects through completion Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance or safety issues Handle tenant move-ins, move-outs, inspections, and related documentation Coordinate leasing and turnover activities Respond to emergencies and building issues in a timely manner Maintain accurate property records, work orders, invoices, and tenant files Ensure properties are maintained in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal requirements Assist with budgeting, expenses, and monitoring property operating costs Coordinate with ownership and management regarding property operations and capital improvements Help ensure a high level of cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of the properties Qualifications 3+ years of residential property management experience preferred Strong knowledge of building operations and maintenance Excellent communication and customer-service skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Experience working with contractors and vendors Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software Ability to respond to occasional after-hours emergencies Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Full-time position An opportunity to live on-site Stable, established property management company Professional and supportive work environment Opportunity for growth and increased responsibility
