The Community Manager is responsible for interaction with Board Members, Committee Members, Homeowners, and Vendors.
Daily responsibilitie s:
Develop recommendations for community goals and lead action plans to achieve Board objectives. Provide community leadership and guidance to ensure that the needs or desires of the homeowners are being addressed. In partnership with the Board, create and implement the annual working budget. On a monthly basis, monitor and report on the financial position of the association to the respective Boards. Provide leadership to each meeting involving the Board of Directors in terms of agenda support and written and oral reports. Be familiar with the Management Agreement in place for the individual communities assigned. Be familiar with the Governing Documents, including adopted rules and regulations for the individual communities assigned. Prepare disclosure packages, annual meeting notifications, and annual financial statement packages for all homeowners and arrange for distribution of information as dictated by the Governing Documents and state statute. Update homeowner and association information in the data base and shared files. Coordinate and/or oversee inspection of facilities, properties and common area, and arrange appropriate follow up actions as required by the Board. Ensure Board of Directors is aware of legal actions involving the Association. Requirements CMCA Certification Required. AMS preferred. Customer service experience required. Excellent communication skills (written and spoken). Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques. Community management experience or equivalent professional experience in a related field strongly preferred. Be familiar and comply with Legislative updates and changes as they pertain to the governance and responsibilities of the Association and Management team. Ability to manage multiple projects with various timelines and stages of completion. Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task with timely follow-up. Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player. Work effectively with coworkers, clients, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.
