Inspire. Grow. We're expanding, and with that growth comes opportunity. We are seeking a Community Manager to oversee one of our newly acquired apartment communities in the Hampton Roads area. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Community Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career, or an experienced Community Manager looking for a company that values leadership, supports growth, and invests in its people. You'll have direct support from a local Regional Manager who believes in developing talent and promoting from within. What You'll Do As Community Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance and daily operations of the community, including: Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing onsite team. Driving occupancy, resident satisfaction, and resident retention. Managing delinquency, collections, and lease enforcement with confidence. Overseeing leasing operations and ensuring strong closing ratios. Coordinating apartment renovations, capital improvement projects, and unit turns. Maintaining property appearance and operational excellence. Managing vendor relationships and ensuring quality work. Monitoring budgets, expenses, and property performance. Ensuring compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations. Creating an exceptional resident experience while protecting the owner's investment. We're Looking For Someone Who Has Experience as an Assistant Community Manager ready for the next step, or current Community Manager experience. Strong knowledge of delinquency management and rent collections. Experience supervising and motivating onsite teams. A proven track record of increasing resident satisfaction and retention. Experience coordinating renovations, rehabs, and apartment turns. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. The ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Experience with RealPage OneSite is preferred. A positive attitude, accountability, and a desire to grow professionally.
