We are a small provider of residential group homes for adults with disabilities in the Harrisonburg/Rockingham County, Virginia area. The Senior Manager of Residential Services is responsible for providing support to the agency Director in all areas of licensure compliance, staff recruitment, staff development and oversight, resident service planning, and ensuring high-quality resident care at all times. The Senior Manager of Residential Services will provide direct supervision to Group Home Managers, under the guidance of the agency Director. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with knowledge of IDD group home operations to advance their career. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and licensing regulations. Supervise, mentor, and support residential Group Home Managers. Provide support in staffing, training, oversight and new hire development. Communicate group home concerns and propose solutions to the agency Director. Support Group Home Managers with resident medical appointments when needed. Ensure individuals served receive high-quality, person-centered care and support. Investigate incidents, address concerns, and implement corrective action plans as needed under the guidance of the agency director. Collaborate with families, guardians, funding agencies, and community partners. Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional work environment. Provide on-call coverage on a rotating schedule, which may include covering shifts as needed. Qualifications At least three years' experience in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. Demonstrated experience supervising residential programs, day programs, or group homes. Some knowledge of licensing requirements, regulatory standards, and best practices in residential care. Valid driver's license and ability to travel between program locations on a regular basis. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and in writing.
