Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

$110,000 - $130,000 Overview Client is seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial properties in the DC Metro area. This position is a combination of office-based work in Vienna and regular on-site visits to assigned properties. The Senior Property Manager will be responsible for day-to-day property operations, owner and tenant relationships, financial reporting, budgeting, vendor management, and overall property performance. Requirements
5+ years of commercial property management experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
CPM or RPA designation, or progress toward designation, preferred
Experience with budgets, ownership reporting, and CAM reconciliations
Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar property management software
Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong judgment, accountability, and customer service skills
Ability to travel between assigned properties
Availability for occasional after-hours emergency response
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations for a portfolio of retail, office, and industrial properties
Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners, including monthly owner calls and reporting
Manage tenant and vendor relationships and address property-related concerns
Oversee rent collections and cash management in coordination with Accounting
Prepare monthly financial and operational reports, including variance explanations
Develop, manage, and reforecast annual operating and capital budgets
Manage CAM estimates and annual reconciliations
Administer leases and tenant documentation, including defaults, certificates of insurance, and gross sales reporting
Manage vendor contracts, bidding, insurance requirements, and vendor performance
Oversee minor construction projects, tenant build-outs, and capital projects
Conduct regular property inspections and identify operational, financial, and risk issues
Coordinate property tax reviews and appeals as applicable
Partner with Leasing, Accounting, and Construction teams
Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed
