This role combines sales, resident relations, and property management operations to create an exceptional experience for both prospective and current residents. Full-Time What You'll Be Responsible For As a Leasing & Resident Specialist, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents while helping support daily community operations. Leasing & Sales Conduct professional apartment tours that highlight community amenities, apartment features, and neighborhood benefits. Convert prospect inquiries into signed leases through effective follow-up and relationship building. Manage leasing activity from phone, text, email, internet leads, and walk-in traffic. Maintain full knowledge of pricing, availability, floor plans, and market competition. Complete rental application processing and assist with lease preparation and execution. Resident Relations Deliver a positive move-in experience for new residents. Assist with lease renewals and resident retention initiatives. Respond to resident questions and service-related concerns professionally and promptly. Support resident communication efforts and community engagement activities. Property Management Support Utilize CRM and AppFolio property management software to accurately document prospect and resident interactions. Coordinate with maintenance teams regarding apartment readiness and service requests. Submit and monitor maintenance work orders to completion. Assist with rent collection processes and resident account inquiries. Perform move-in, move-out, and occupancy inspections when needed. Help maintain model apartments, common areas, and overall community appearance. What We're Looking ForPreferred Experience Previous experience in apartment leasing, multifamily housing, residential property management, real estate, hospitality, or sales. Knowledge of leasing best practices, prospect management, and resident retention strategies. Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and compliance standards or willingness to learn. Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of residential leasing processes, occupancy goals, and apartment marketing. Ability to effectively manage a leasing pipeline from initial inquiry through lease signing. Experience using AppFolio property management platform, CRM systems, and digital communication tools preferred not required . Familiarity with resident account management, lease documentation, and occupancy reporting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced housing environment. Professional demeanor with a service-oriented mindset. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required. Physical Requirements Walk apartment communities, including stairways and outdoor areas. Stand and move throughout the property for extended periods. Bend, stoop, reach, and climb as necessary. Lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
