Job Description

Meridian Group, Inc., a property management company specializing in affordable housing, is seeking an Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of properties in Central Wisconsin. This position will be based out of Wisconsin Rapids and will require regular travel throughout the portfolio. The Area Manager will oversee the administrative staff and overall operation of residential properties in Meridian's Central Wisconsin area including: Marshfield, Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, Black River Falls, New Lisbon, Wisconsin Dells, Reedsburg, Baraboo, Portage, Poynette, Ripon, Montello, and Berlin. The successful candidate must have property management experience, knowledge of tenant/landlord law, supervision experience, and a general understanding of physical property maintenance. The Area Manager will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and under supervision of the Regional Manager to provide supervision, training, and overall operational support to properties and employees in the portfolio. Excellent customer service, communication, and organization skills are essential. Knowledge of affordable housing programs is preferred. Candidate must have a valid driver's license. Regular travel within the portfolio is required. This full time position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
