Job Description
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Community Manager for a large garden style apartment community located in Morgantown. Responsibilities include complete oversight of property operations which involves leasing, marketing, maintenance, accounting and personnel. Some more specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Greeting all guests/prospects Leasing available apartment homes and minimizing vacancy Marketing and monitoring area competitors for occupancy and price comparison Oversee rent collections, late payment notices and monthly suit filings Oversee maintenance tasks and ensure resident work orders are responded to in a timely manner and work quality meets our company standards Respond to resident concerns Maintenance property and ensuring building upkeep and curb appeal Enforce lease agreements and property rues Basic accounting knowledge to manage budgets and property expense tracking Assist Community Manager with other duties as needed Candidate must have: A minimum of 5 years multifamily property management experience Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations Knowledge of building and grounds maintenance, resident relations, leasing, rent collections, accounting principles and use of accounting software Superior customer service skills Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally Strong organizational skills, which are needed to effectively support budget planning, maintenance records, business reporting, and management of other miscellaneous office files.
