Job Description
The City of Chandler Municipal Court is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining their team as a Court Services Supervisor . The position is scheduled to work Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This opportunity is only open to: 1) current regular City of Chandler employees, 2) those participating in a city approved internship or apprenticeship program, and 3) temporary employees who are paid through the city payroll system. Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler. Who we are The Chandler Municipal Court is the Judicial Branch of the Chandler city government and is also a part of the Arizona Judicial System. The Chandler Municipal Court serves the public and contributes to the quality of life in our community by fairly, impartially, and promptly administering justice in an effective, efficient, and professional manner. Chandler Municipal Court is responsible for adjudicating criminal misdemeanors, criminal and civil traffic violations, city code violations, ensuring compliance with court orders, and upholding the integrity of the judicial process. The Court also serves the community by issuing Injunctions Against Harassment and Protective Orders. - An Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice or Business Administration or a related field; and
- 3 years of progressively responsible experience in a Municipal Court environment with 1 year of supervisory experience; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
