Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A Clinical Pharmacy Manager position is available within a leading medical center in San Francisco, CA. This role holds clinical management responsibility across multiple campuses of a prominent healthcare institution. The ideal candidate will lead a dynamic pharmacy team in delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services and advancing patient care initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Oversee, supervise, and coordinate clinical pharmacy staff across all campuses within the medical center. Implement, support, and evaluate clinical pharmacy activities in the Department of Pharmacy. Develop and deliver educational and training programs for pharmacy staff and hospital personnel. Design, market, implement, and assess clinical service programs to ensure their continuity and effectiveness. Maintain department accountability with respect to quality assurance, medication safety, drug use evaluation, adverse drug reaction monitoring, and drug information management. Manage the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program as its Director. Co-chair the Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee, providing leadership and strategic oversight.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Active pharmacist license in California. Minimum of 5 years of total pharmacy experience. Prior experience as a Clinical Coordinator or Clinical Pharmacy Manager. Experience managing residency programs preferred. Proven supervisory and team management skills.

San Francisco, California, servicing multiple campuses of the medical center. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive salary range from $206,000 to $330,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
