Job Description

TOWN OF PRESTON DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
Public Works Maintainer Under general supervision and direction of the Public Works Manager and Crew Leader, performs semi-skilled and skilled work in the construction, installation, repair, and maintenance of Town roads, bridges, parks, grounds, and facilities. Duties include plowing snow, sanding/salting roads, operating power equipment, and performing heavy physical labor. Must have and maintain Commercial Driver's License (CDL). The hours for this position are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with additional overtime as required. The salary range for this position is between $23.11 to $28.89 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. The Town offers a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance, pension plan, optional 457 retirement plan, paid time off, 12 paid holidays, and an employee assistance program.
