The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal, analytical, and computer skills; a commitment to excellence; resilience; and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.   • $80,265 Announcement Number 26-23 Position Description The Case Administrator is responsible for reviewing and processing filings to ensure compliance with applicable rules and court requirements; verifying attorney eligibility to practice before the Court; maintaining the integrity of case files by monitoring proper access to records; docketing summary entries of documents and proceedings in the Court's electronic filing system, performing quality control to ensure image accuracy and proper document linkage, promptly notifying chambers and Clerk's Office staff of emergency filings; preparing and distributing notices, judgments, and orders to appropriate parties; responding to inquiries from judges, chambers staff, attorneys, and the public both in person and by telephone; and opening and closing civil and criminal cases.
Other responsibilities include performing finance duties, processing mail, assisting with intake operations, and archive/records management. Qualifications Requirements include high school graduate or equivalent and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible legal administrative work experience, requiring the regular and recurring application of clerical procedures involving the routine use of specialized terminology, keyboard skills, and demonstrated ability to apply a body of rules, regulations, directives, or laws. Fast-paced position requires incumbent to present a professional demeanor at all times, be extremely detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. CM/ECF experience is highly desirable, but not required. Experience with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat helpful. The Clerk's Office provides essential clerical and administrative support to all components of the federal judicial administrative process.
