We are not a clinic or a day program. We are a community where members and staff work side by side every day, running the Clubhouse together through our Work-Ordered Day. About the role We are looking for an Assistant Director to be the senior operational leader of our Clubhouse. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will anchor the day-to-day life of

GOC:

leading and developing our staff, keeping us strong on contracts and accreditation, and guiding our employment and education programs, all in fidelity to the International Standards for Clubhouse Programs. While the Executive Director leads our outward-facing community, fundraising, and partnerships, you will make sure the heart of the Clubhouse runs smoothly. What you'll do Lead the day-to-day operation of the Work-Ordered Day across our units, engaging members in real, meaningful work. Supervise, coach, and develop our Generalist staff, with members as partners in hiring, training, and evaluation. Keep GOC compliant across our funding sources (LSF, CAPP, Meridian TIEH) and ready for Clubhouse International accreditation. Oversee our employment and education programs, including Transitional, Supported, and Independent Employment. Train staff and members in the Clubhouse model, and lead accreditation and quality-improvement work. Share in the shared, generalist life of the Clubhouse, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays. What we're looking for Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in social work, human services, public administration, business, or a related field preferred. Meaningful experience in behavioral health or human-services program management. Demonstrated staff supervision and team leadership. Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills; comfort with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. Valid Florida driver's license; ability to pass a Level

II FBI/FDLE

background check. Willingness to complete Clubhouse International training and annual DCF HIPAA and Data Security certifications. Nice to have Familiarity with the Clubhouse model and the International Standards for Clubhouse Programs. Experience with nonprofit contracts, budgets, and funder compliance. Experience with supported or transitional employment services.
