This role is responsible for program operations, staff supervision, compliance, and outcomes management across housing initiatives, including emergency shelter, transitional housing, and/or permanent supportive housing. Key Responsibilities Program Leadership & Operations Oversee day-to-day operations of housing programs to ensure high-quality, client-centered service delivery Monitor program performance, outcomes, and utilization to meet organizational and funder goals Implement and maintain best practices in housing stability, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction Staff Supervision & Development Supervise, coach, and develop program staff, including case managers and support staff Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback Foster a collaborative, accountable, and mission-aligned team culture Compliance & Reporting Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including HUD, state, and local requirements Maintain accurate and timely documentation in HMIS and other data systems Prepare reports for leadership, funders, and stakeholders Strategic & Community Engagement Collaborate with leadership on program strategy, growth, and continuous improvement Build and maintain partnerships with community providers, landlords, and stakeholders Represent the organization in community meetings and coalitions as needed Financial Oversight Assist with monitoring expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility Support grant implementation and ensure alignment with funding requirements
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, or related field (Master's preferred) Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in housing, homelessness services, or related field Over 4 years of direct supervisory experience Strong knowledge of housing models (Housing First, Rapid Rehousing, Permanent Supportive Housing) Experience with HMIS and data-driven program management
Preferred:
Master's degree (MSW or related) Experience managing federally funded programs (e.g., HUD Continuum of Care) Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention Key Competencies Strategic thinking and problem-solving Leadership and team development Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to navigate complex systems and manage competing priorities Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package (health, retirement, PTO, etc.) Application Process This is a confidential search.
