Coach Across America is seeking a National Director, Finance, to join our team. The National Director, Finance, will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer in determining long-term financial goals and developing strategies to achieve the financial objectives of Coach Across America. This is a tremendous opportunity for a finance leader to maximize and strengthen the internal capacity of a well-respected organization. The National Director, Finance, will manage the finance department of the organization, including accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, bookkeeping, financial grants management, produce financial statements and reports, and advise the senior management team on financial decisions. This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining internal controls while overseeing financial systems and related compliance requirements.BENEFITS

Direct the day-to-day accounting operations, including the oversight of the Financial Grants and Operations Manager. Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports (income statements and balance sheets) in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements to senior management. Reconcile all accounts on a monthly basis in Fund-EZ. Lead the annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the COO; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes, and produce monthly budgets versus actual reports. Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting. Oversee and help prepare large foundation grant budgets Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities, and prepare schedules with outside audit firms and review firms' performance. Single Audit (A-133) experience is a must. Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; periodically update the organization's accounting manual. Responsible for upkeep and management of all bank accounts and lines of credit. Remain up-to-date on best practices in nonprofit finance, business systems, and internal control measures, and state and federal law regarding nonprofit operations. Travel may be required on an as-needed basis, no more than 10% of your work time. Other duties as determined by your supervisor. Government Grants Oversight Responsibilities Prepare all quarterly FFR and year-end reports Review monthly timesheet allocations Review and Submit Monthly PERs for 4-6 Government Contracts Perform monthly drawdowns from Payment Management Systems All Single Audit schedules and SEFA preparation for annual auditQUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA/CPA preferred. 5+ Years Experience with multiple AmeriCorps/Federal grants over $2M is a must. 5+ years of relevant work experience as a Senior Accountant or equivalent. Experience in nonprofit accounting is required (revenue recognition, 990 reporting, A-133 single audit experience a must). Working knowledge of OMB, GAAP, audits, and other regulatory requirements in the financial field. Expert computer skills, including Office, with advanced proficiency in Excel and Fund-EZ (or similar automated accounting software). Must be able to work on a team, but also be extremely self-motivated.COMPENSATION
Salary:
