Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Programs is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and advancing all of Corazón Community Services' programmatic initiatives across Youth Development, Workforce Development, Health & Prevention, Digital Literacy, and Community Impact. This position ensures the quality, alignment, and strategic impact of programs across the agency, while supervising program managers, coordinators, interns, and social work interns. The Director of Programs serves as the primary leader of all programmatic strategy, implementation, and outcomes, ensuring programs are responsive to community needs and aligned with the organization's mission. This role works in close collaboration with the Executive Director and Managing Director to ensure alignment between strategy, operations, and program delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Strategy & Leadership Provide strategic oversight and direction for all programs to ensure alignment with the organization's mission, values, and strategic plan Serve as the final decision-maker on program design, implementation, and service delivery across all program areas Lead program planning, development, evaluation, and continuous improvement Ensure alignment between program design, service deliver, and evolving community needs Provide regular program insights and updates to the Executive Director to inform strategic decision-making Participate in agency-wide strategic planning, risk management, and organizational improvement efforts Program Operations & Implementation Oversee implementation of all program areas, ensuring consistency, quality, and participant experience Ensure appropriate appropriate staffing, scheduling, and structure across all programs Maintain standardized program models, service delivery expectations, and operational consistency Grant Oversight, Evaluation, & Program Compliance Lead development of program outcomes, logic models, and evaluation frameworks Monitors performance metrics, service delivery models, and program effectiveness Ensure all program deliverables align with the grant requirements, scopes of work, and funder expectations Support development of MOUs, linkage agreements, and community partnerships Oversee program reporting, data tracking, and documentation processes Collaborate with the Managing Director to ensure alignment with compliance tracking systems and reporting timelines Staff Supervision & Program Team Leadership Supervise Program Managers, Coordinators, interns, and social work interns Provide onboarding, coaching, performance management, and professional development Directly oversee social work interns supporting Community Impact initiatives Address staffing needs and support hiring in collaboration with the Managing Director Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Community Impact & Partnerships Oversee Community Impact initiatives carried out through social work interns Ensure services are trauma-informed, ethical, and culturally responsive Develop and maintain relationships with program-specific partners Represent Corazón in coalitions, working groups, and community-based initiatives Identify opportunities for program growth, partnerships, and expanded impact Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate with the Executive Director on strategic alignment and organizational priorities Partner with the Managing Director to align program operations with staffing structures, budgeting, compliance tracking, and internal systems Contribute to grant development and reporting in collaboration with leadership
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
