Description:
The Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute, the only Federally Recognized Hemophilia Treatment Center of its kind south of Chicago, is adding a Director of Finance to our growing finance team. The Director of Finance is responsible for providing financial leadership, operational oversight, and fiscal stewardship for the organization. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role directs all accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, audit coordination, and internal control functions. The Director of Finance ensures the integrity of financial information, compliance with regulatory and accounting standards, and alignment of financial operations with organizational goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience in healthcare finance and at least three years leading a team of finance professionals. accounts with generous employer match. Dependent Care Assistance. 401(k): BCDI matches 100% on the first 5% of salary invested. Generous PTO package. WFH hours included. Salary Range for this position is: $120,000 - $140,000 Pay is determined by experience, skills & education.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience. CPA designation a plus. Advanced knowledge of accounting principles a must. 5+ years of general ledger accounting experience, including journal entries, reconciliations in a medical office a plus. Medical office billing and collection experience a plus. Strong knowledge of not-for-profit GAAP. Extreme attention to detail, high level of professionalism, and excellent communication skills. Strong proficiency with MS Excel and experience working in a variety of accounting systems a must. Highly motivated with the ability to work on a team as well as independently and drive results.
