Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Employment Services Director to lead our employment programs and initiatives. In this vital role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and management of employment services tailored to individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities and other underserved communities. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality social services, foster strong relationships with community partners, and promote an inclusive environment that empowers clients to achieve their employment goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through strategic program management, team supervision, and innovative service delivery. Responsibilities Lead the planning, development, and execution of employment programs that support individuals with disabilities and underserved populations. Supervise social service program staff, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and effective team. Manage relationships with community partners, employers, vendors, and stakeholders to expand opportunities for clients and enhance program visibility. Oversee administrative functions including budgeting, compliance monitoring, reporting, and maintaining accurate client records using Microsoft Office tools. Develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standards and best practices in social services administration. Coordinate training sessions for staff on topics such as behavioral health, social work best practices, client communication, and cultural competency. Monitor program outcomes through data analysis and client feedback to continuously improve service quality and effectiveness. Requirements Extensive experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general within social services or related fields. Proven leadership in managing teams of social service staff or behavioral health professionals; supervisory experience is essential. Strong relationship management skills to collaborate effectively with community organizations, government agencies, employers, and clients from underserved communities. Demonstrated administrative expertise including budgeting, compliance oversight, program development, and report writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and data analysis purposes. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse populations effectively. Experience working with behavioral health issues or social work practices is preferred. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to engage clients clearly and professionally. Knowledge of federal/state regulations governing social services programs; experience ensuring program compliance is crucial. Leadership in social services administration with a focus on team management, staff supervision, and program innovation. Pay:
$48,820.76 - $58,794.89 per year
