Work Schedule:

For more detailed information, please visit our benefits page at SCBenefits. This position supports the judicial division of the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office. This position works primarily with inputting warrant and bond information, running hourly reports, and answering deputies' queries about warrant information. This position also assists with other administrative tasks including scanning and customer service. This position is exposed to sensitive and potentially emotionally disturbing information, and hostile or emotionally charged customers. Reports and Warrant Entry Receive and sort daily warrant paperwork from the District Court, and run hourly reports to continually access newly issued warrants Review warrant paperwork to find the assigned deputy and warrant details, and input all information into Sheriff's Office software and NCIC, including personal details of the warrant holder and past mug shots Ensure all warrant and holder information is filled out both systems, and send information to deputies notifying them of their newly assigned warrants through sheriff software applications Run daily report for cleared warrants, and remove from NCIC and Sheriff's Office software Receive and process emails from the detention center containing requests for immediate warrant entry Upon notification of canceled warrants, remove identification numbers from NCIC Recordkeeping and Customer Service Gather and prepare copies of felony and juvenile-related warrants Scan and file warrant files in designated electronic record systems used by the Sheriff's Office Take information from canceled warrants, and scan them into related warrant paperwork Take calls and assist walk-in customers with questions related to Judicial division processes
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. One year of administrative or customer service related experience. Experience with Microsoft Suite or similar systems. Must obtain NCIC Certification within six months of hire. In order to be considered for interview, candidates will be required to pass pre-employment testing of 80% reading comprehension.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Public or Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Two years of experience with court systems or law enforcement agencies. One year of experience with Microsoft Suite. Formal NCIC training. Applicants have rights under Federal Employment Laws.
