Job Description:
The Athletic Communications/Sports Information student employee will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Athletic Communications Department including all event/game day/contest support, all athletic department promotional efforts as well as statistical and information management. Specific responsibilities may include scoreboard/game clock operation, scorebook keeping, public address announcing, venue/equipment set-up and breakdown, live statistical inputting, video camera operation, live stream directing, photography, gameday supervisory duties; social media, video, and website content creation and maintenance as well as general office and or remote tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Must have general knowledge of or be willing to learn about and work with the MCLA's athletics programs. Must have general knowledge of or be willing to learn the various facets of athletic communications. Must have the ability to perform one or more of the specific responsibilities listed. Must have flexible work hours available. Must be willing to work some nights and weekends. Must be reliable and able to work independently.
