Job Description
The City of Cook is seeking a City Administrator-Clerk/Treasurer to serve as chief administrative officer, reporting to the City Council and overseeing daily operations, finances, personnel, compliance, and public engagement while implementing Council policies to support the community. The City of Cook is a small, close-knit community of approximately 500 residents in northern Minnesota's Iron Range region. This is an excellent opportunity for a public administration professional - including those early in their career - to gain broad, hands-on experience across every facet of municipal government. A bachelor's degree in public/business administration or a related field, plus supervisory experience, is required; an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired may be considered. To apply, submit an application for employment along with your resume and cover letter to: rclaxton@northshorehr.com .
