certifications and recertifications. Collect and record rent and security deposits and follow up on overdue accounts. Conduct move-in and move-out inspections. Stay current on HUD, Section 8, LIHTC, Fair Housing, and other affordable housing regulations. Assist with compliance and file audits, identifying and correcting issues before certifications are finalized. Help train and support Leasing Associates and provide guidance on affordable housing processes and compliance. Supervise and support office staff, including providing coaching and feedback. Work with residents, community organizations, government agencies, churches, and other partners to support the community. Assist with resident events, property projects, safety plans, resident communications, and other community needs. Ensure property occupancy, rent collection, work order turnaround, and other HUD requirements are being met. What We're Looking For Previous property management experience is required. Experience working with HUD, Section 8, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) housing is required. High School Diploma or GED required. Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance and Fair Housing regulations. Experience with resident certifications, recertifications, leasing, and maintaining compliance files. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues. Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities. Comfortable providing direction, training, and support to other team members. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and outside organizations. Must successfully pass the EverTrue occupancy test within 90 days of employment. Training and preparation are provided at no cost if needed. Documented compliance training through an approved training company or willingness to obtain it. Why EverTrue?
