Position Summary:
Essential Pregnancy Services is a life-affirming and faith-based nonprofit pregnancy resource center that is dedicated to assisting women and families with unplanned pregnancies by helping them build a healthy future through support, education, health services, material assistance and referrals. The greatest needs of a teen or a woman facing an unplanned pregnancy is the medical care needed to answer her immediate questions on pregnancy, as well as the opportunity to be listened to in an environment that is safe and confidential. The Life Services Director affirms the sanctity of life while empowering clients to choose life by providing strategic leadership, oversight, and development of all client-facing life services offered. This role ensures that programs are compassionate, effective, mission-aligned, and responsive to the holistic needs of clients before, during, and after pregnancy. The Life Services Director supervises staff and volunteers, strengthens program quality, and fosters partnerships that support clients in choosing life and achieving long-term stability.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Development Commitment to the mission, core values and services provided by EPS Adhere to ethical and professional guidelines by maintaining appropriate boundaries and client confidentiality at all times. Oversee all life services programs (e.g., client advocacy, maternal mental health, parenting education, material assistance, post-abortion support, life skills, referrals). Evaluate and enhance existing programs to ensure effectiveness, consistency, and mission alignment. Develop new services and initiatives in response to client needs and community gaps. Ensure services are trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and delivered with dignity and compassion. Staff & Volunteer Supervision Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate life services staff and key volunteers. Foster a collaborative, supportive, and mission-driven team culture. Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities. Client Care & Quality Assurance Establish and maintain best practices for client care, documentation, confidentiality, and follow-up. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations. Review client outcomes and data to measure impact and guide improvements. Encourage hope, healing, and long term stability for families. Ensure all applicable staff credentials are maintained on an annual basis. Collaboration in Church & Community Partnerships Build and maintain relationships with community agencies, churches, healthcare providers, and social service organizations. Coordinate referrals and advocate for clients' access to needed resources. Represent the center professionally in community settings related to life services. Strategic Planning & Administration Collaborate with the Executive Director on program strategy, budgeting, and annual goals. Prepare reports, statistics, and narratives highlighting life-change stories related to life services for leadership, board, and donors. Assist with grant reporting and program-related fundraising initiatives as needed by providing program insight.
Additional Responsibilities:
Attends monthly EPS Staff Meeting and provides updates on Life Services Department Facilitate and organize bi-weekly Life Services Department meeting Follow EPS approved policies and procedures Monitor and maintain client databases for accuracy of upcoming and completed appointments Responsible for other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Required:
Master's degree in social work, counseling, human services, ministry, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in client services, program management, or nonprofit leadership. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Commitment to the mission and values of a pregnancy resource center.
Preferred:
Experience working in a pregnancy resource center or similar nonprofit. Knowledge of community resources related to pregnancy, parenting, housing, and social services. Grant reporting or program evaluation experience. Physical & Schedule Requirements Occasional evening or weekend hours for events, training, or community outreach.

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
