The Borough of Chatham Department of Public Works is currently accepting applications for two (2) seasonal employees to assist with Public Works operations during the fall season. Seasonal employees will assist DPW staff with leaf collection, brush and debris removal, grounds maintenance, general cleanup, and other Public Works duties as assigned. This position involves physical labor and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications:

Valid New Jersey Driver's License Ability to perform physical labor Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to read, write, and speak English Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team

Pay:

$25.00 per hour

Hours:

7:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday through

Friday Position:

Seasonal/Temporary Applications will be accepted through October 5, 2026 .
